Here, we share a mix of recent test passes and reviews from pupils who’ve done just that. It’s proof that with the right approach, patience, and practice, real progress happens.

January – April, Recent Test Passes

A fantastic start to the year

  • Mason — passed in Dunfermline. Prepared, composed, and well deserved.
  • Congratulations to Jamie, who passed his driving test after just 20 hours of tuition
  • John is definitely the best driving instructor i have ever had. he has been so patient, tailored a plan that i could learn easier for remembering and had so much faith in me that i couldn’t see. He heped me build my confidence so much in such a short space of time. I highly recommend John as an instructor and will be booking my daughter in next year when she turns 17

  • John is a superb instructor. All the lessons are planned out very well before hand. The manoeuvres I learned never fail and if they do John shows and teaches you how to easily fix it but it never comes to that with how well John has taught it. John gives you the motivation and positivity you need to achieve your goals. I don’t at all feel at unease driving with John. Any problems you have with driving even the stupidest of driving questions, John doesn’t make you feel embarrassed. Very good problem solver and nice to chat with. Thanks again John its been an experience to say the least!

October 2025 – Recent Test Passes

Four brilliant results in Dunfermline this month.

  • Nikita – travelled from Edinburgh for lessons and impressed with how quickly he picked things up, finishing his test with just one driver fault, almost a clean sheet.
  • Moray – quietly determined from the very first lesson, his steady progress and commitment paid off with a well-earned pass.
  • First-time pass for Kole in Dunfermline — a great result for a dedicated local pupil from Saline.
